Software built to hold.

Nam GmbH designs, builds and maintains software systems — from web applications to the cloud infrastructure and integrations they depend on.

01 — Overview

An engineering company focused on systems that are understandable, tested and maintainable.

We work across the full lifecycle of a software system: understanding the problem, designing an architecture, writing and testing the code, deploying it and keeping it running.

Our emphasis is on clarity. Code should be readable by the next engineer, infrastructure should be reproducible, and decisions should be written down so they can be revisited.

02 — Core capabilities

Six areas of work, one consistent method.

  1. 01

    Custom software

  2. 02

    Web applications

  3. 03

    Cloud & infrastructure

  4. 04

    Integration & APIs

  5. 05

    Automation

  6. 06

    Quality assurance

03 — Custom software development

Software shaped around the way your organisation actually works.

When off-the-shelf tools do not fit, we build software for the specific process: internal tools, business applications and back-end services. Requirements are clarified before implementation, and the result is documented and handed over in a form your team can own.

  • Domain modelling and requirements analysis
  • Back-end services and data models
  • Documentation and structured handover

04 — Web application engineering

Fast, accessible interfaces backed by reliable services.

Front end

Responsive interfaces with attention to accessibility, readable typography and performance on modest devices.

Back end

APIs and server logic with clear contracts, validation at the boundaries and predictable error handling.

Rendering

Server rendering or prerendering where content needs to be visible to search engines and fast on first load.

Evolution

Codebases structured so that features can be added without rewriting what already works.

05 — Cloud and infrastructure

Infrastructure described as code, deployed the same way every time.

We design cloud environments with reproducibility in mind: infrastructure definitions in version control, automated deployment pipelines, separated environments, and monitoring that tells you when something needs attention.

06 — Systems integration and automation

Connecting the systems you already use.

Many problems are not about missing software but about systems that do not talk to each other. We build API integrations, data synchronisation and automated workflows that remove repetitive manual steps.

07 — Security and reliability

Considered from the first design, not added at the end.

Least privilege
Access is limited to what each component and person needs.
Dependency hygiene
Libraries are kept current and reviewed for known vulnerabilities.
Secrets handling
Credentials are kept out of source code and managed separately.
Observable systems
Logging and monitoring make failures visible and diagnosable.

08 — Development process

Small steps, visible progress.

  1. Step 1

    Discover

Understand goals, constraints and the existing landscape.

  2. Step 2

    Define

Write down scope, architecture and acceptance criteria.

  3. Step 3

    Build

Implement in short increments with code review.

  4. Step 4

    Verify

Test automatically and manually before each release.

  5. Step 5

    Operate

Deploy, monitor and improve based on real usage.

QA

09 — Quality assurance and testing

Tests are part of the product.

Unit tests cover business rules, integration tests cover the boundaries between systems, and end-to-end checks cover the paths users depend on. Automated tests run on every change so regressions are found before release, not after.

10 — Collaboration and communication

Clear writing, regular updates, no surprises.

We prefer written communication that can be referenced later: documented decisions, concise progress notes and open questions stated plainly. Trade-offs are explained so that you can make informed choices.

Questions & answers

What kind of projects does Nam GmbH take on?

Custom software, web applications, cloud infrastructure work, API and systems integration, workflow automation, quality assurance, maintenance of existing systems, and technical consulting.

Can you work on an existing codebase?

Yes. Work on an existing system starts with a review of the code, infrastructure and documentation so that changes are made with an understanding of how the system currently behaves.

How is a project scoped?

Through a written description of goals, constraints and the parts of the system involved. Scope is broken into small, reviewable increments rather than one large delivery.

How do you communicate during a project?

In writing first: shared notes, documented decisions and regular progress summaries, supplemented by calls when a discussion benefits from it.

Do you provide support after delivery?

Maintenance can be arranged as a separate engagement, covering updates, dependency upgrades, monitoring and fixes.

How do we start a conversation?

Write to ais0927632864@gmail.com with a short description of the project, its current state and what you would like to achieve.
